My thinking exactly with the epoxy primer. If Picklex has to be sealed completely, there is no advantage to having it on that I can see. Just another variable for adhesion/paint problems. I'm not saying in any way that it does not convert rust that is there. Time will tell for people(me included) who have used it beacause I simply don't know. I can see if it does fail, they'll just say it was a moisture issue.
