my command car has a 12v generator system and regulator. big generator to provide radio capacity. i know the production start date for ffpw was the question, but 12v did exist. if you needed it, the SEG would have provided a solution. off road long distance communications come to mind. although there are def start dates for some things, dodge was unique in that they built what was requested. i saw some oddball 1/2 pilothouse factory 4x4s. built for an electric company. just saying always confirm the build before thinking your truck is 'wrong'
