have been a parts & service director for a
multi line dealership
a good flat rate mechanic would not take the
time to adjust with engine not running. quick
and fast and accurate to do with it running as is described in the factory manual but to each his own.
fun was adjusting valves on our fuelie corvettes with idle at 750 rpm (special little covers for the rockers to keep the oil
off of everything) 30 30 camshaft
