Well Eric, you deal with it. If you have a job that doesnt allow for insurance then thats the way it is.

I worked for many years at my job with no insurance. I could not afford it. Took my chances and paid a few medical bills when something came up. After struggling to live for many years at a job I enjoyed (and went to school for) watching the owner/boss rake in all the $$$$ I decided it was time for a job change to better myself. It took me over 2 years to finally land a job with the railroad. I had interviews and other things and always missed out and one day it was my turn and I got the job.

Fast forward 15 years later I have increased my income 4 times what I was making with the ability to go more. Full dental and health insurance for my family (that I didnt have then) with retirement and making enough extra to put into a 401k on my own.

My wife was a CNA. She got tired of wiping someones grandma's *ss for 6$ an hour and went back to school and is now a nurse makeing a LOT more then she was as a CNA.

Neither one of us laid around on our dead butts waiting on the government to give us something.

As Will said its the Land of opporunity and not entitlements!

And now with all that I am hearing Prez Yobama and clan wants to do away with my health insurance or tax me to the point that I can no longer afford it and have to cave in and go to this public health care idea? BS!!!!!!!!! They cant even take care of Cash for Clunkers.
