i have a big TIP brand cabinet. the siphon does not jam. you might want to retrofit your box with the right size TIP siphon unit. just a thought. pretty simple stuff. good media and a good tip is also part of the equation. use too small a tip to conserve air on a small compressor and the media will back up.
