I am replacing the glass on my B1 which has the small glass and the wing vent. I bought the flexible window channel that fits into the door, and the short, rigid channel that fits inside the door to support the front edge of the glass. After several unsuccessful attempts at getting the window to crank up and down without feeling like I was going to break the regulator, I finally realized the opening in the short, rigid channel was way too tight. I solved the problem by taking a piece of solid steel rod about 5/8" diameter, the same length as the channel, and driving it into the channel, which spread the opening of the channel enough for the metal trim on the glass to be able to slide through. I thought I would pass this on in case anyone has this problem. I bought my stuff from VPW, and don't know if the same pieces from Roberts have more room or not. JH
