I was heading to the parade muster site in Ocean Grove, NJ to meet up with my group with my 68 WM300 fire truck. Small town on the NJ shore with tiny streets and lots of stop signs. Suddenly, crunch. What did I hit? There was nothing in front of me for a quarter mile. A girl ran a stop sign in a 91 Honda Civic right in front of me. The impact threw her car 180 onto the sidewalk. Luckily, no one was standing there. I was only doing about 15 MPH, but she was doing about 30. My truck had a few scrapes on the front bumper. Her car was all caved in on the passenger side. Good thing I was not going faster, or she might be dead. Wiplash for her, I was fine. The cop that looked at my front bumper for damage just shook his head. I do not think he ever saw a front end(with winch) on a truck like that ever before. She got tickets for running the stop sign, no insurance card or insurance. Luckily, I had no damage or hurts. I think her car was totalled.

My question is, after I hit her, and shut off the truck, there was a cloud of greenish vapor that came out of the louvers on the hood. I though maybe the fan cut the radiator, or a broken hose. I found nothing. Drove 15 miles home fine. Drove it twice since then and all is fine. Where did the antifreeze vapor come from? I have been all over the engine with a drop light and cannot find an answer. Any ideas?
