Skip the 60's? Really....why add 1-2 feet to the overall height, another foot of width to your rig, and 500+ lbs of weight? Rockwells break too, in fact last time out I saw 2 rockwell axles break where all the LIGHTER one ton axled rigs made the obstacle look easy. Not trying to start a debate b/c rockwells are strong. That being said name a motorsport that heavier is better.
Get a 60 and 14bolt, with 39.5-42's you will just fine. The birfields are nice but like to go clicky-click....they break too.
Remember....nothing is as strong as stupid.
