on the way to the mud pit we encountered some hippies out for a walk in the woods. I was up in the front of the pack. I thought they were waving at us but they were waving their hands as if to brush the dust away from their faces. I smiled at them as they cursed our dust raising, smoke belching noisy machines. I didnt have the heart to tell them that we had stopped there just to let the other 30 trucks behind us catch up. ha ha
