i just wonder what sense this makes? spend 3 billion dollars to put how many cars on the road? What happens when we are clunkered out is what scares me. it is way stupid to have allowed this program to include cars that dont have a '1' as the first number in the VIN indicating american made. the focus on the list is foreign made, but is a ford vehicle. it is moronic approach to stimulus. they should have allowed a tax deduction for purchasing an american built car. dont pay taxes currently? - you would get a refund. pay taxes currently, your basis would decrease. we are in the last stages of our roman empire. we are drinking from the lead pipe fat and happy while we sold down the river by our elected officials.
