Never had to do it for the Tucker, but had to pull a couple for the pickups.
Heat, force, and penetrant didn't really work individually, so I ended up loading it with a puller bearing against the end of the shaft and just impacting the puller with the a hammer whilst it was still loaded up.
Took a pretty good pounding to get them to move, but move they did - eventually, and the only damage was to the puller hex where I waqs hitting it - had to dress that back.
