Over Heating 65 wm300 251

After recoring radiator, new dist.tube,water pump, new head(old one cracked) and a new temp sender. The truck pegged the meter, unitl i took out the thermostat (new also). Now it runs at abot the A/T area of HEAT on the gauge. Any ideas what ot do next, it appears there is simply not enough flow. Also what is the appprox. temps on one of these gauges.
