While I remember...

If you live somewhere that it actually does rain, you need to do something about your four Carryall side window boxes.

Theoreticlly they will duct water to the drain hose in the factory configuration, but in practice it doesn't work and you get a wet floor.

So, start with four solid, clean window boxes.

1. Cut and fit four drain hoses longer than the originals. The original hoses just led down into the double panel and stopped, so all your drained water poured down into that double skin. Much nicer to fit longer hoses taking the drained water down to chassis level before dumping it on the ground, and keeping the rot out of your double skin panels.

2. Buy some plumbers putty and build a sink / channel in the bottom of each window box about an inch high, with a groove down the centre leading to the drain hole. Push the putty up against the sides and then overpaint to seal it.

Now when your Carryall is out in the rain the water from the rear windows will gather in the putty channel before draining down through the longer hoses to below chassis level.

Job done.
