I did the frame for my power wagon and the frame for my 52 M101 trailer.

The trailer frame and rims I had snadblasted and used Por 15. The PW frame I did without sandblasting.

both were done almost two years ago. The frame is still sitting out in direct sunlight, on jack stands. No issues whatsoever. The trailer has about 2,000 miles of being pulled behind my Dakota. Again no issues.

If you read the directions, it does say that it can be applied over a sandblasted surface. The key, I found, is to apply the topcoat while the Por 15 is still tacky. This hardens both layers simultaniously and adds to its protection.

I have not experienced any of the flaking, peeling or any of the other problems listed. And Im over two years into having applied this on both surfaces.

I am happy with it.

Nick
