Hi Tony! Where was it located? I bought one in the 1980s in Auburn California, it was from the Foresthill school district! I can't remember the serial number, but Greg Gideo in Texas bought it a few years ago from me! It had the conventional pipe-frame seats typical of the Gillig busses of the era. You can cointact Gillig in Hayward Cal and ask for the archive department. I had talked with a lady many years ago who said they have records of all the busses made by serial number, ( that number, by the way is the "invoice number" and it will provide a lot of info, including the build date and the school district that ordered the bus! but the old ones like the power wagons were archived away and she told me I would have to go there and I would be welcome to dig through them to find the data on my bus! She had told me that during the fifties, Gillig equipped several dozen PWs with their bodies, and the cowl-chassis were from the San Leandro Dodge truck plant.I will look araound and see if I can find some interior picrures for you! Great find!!
