Quick PTO Question

i am going to install a rear pto if you feel i am not going to over work the unit it self > what i need is to know if the power requirement 35 horse power draw is to much to run for 5 or 6 hours continous > my concern is 1 ) that i could burn out the tranny /pto for such extented use 2)what engine speed would give me 540 rpm > and any information is allways appreciated ~ Copey ~ Thanks
