Good points. I was ran about a week ago, and I need to get a good (new) gauge, but all in all I'm happy with the engine so for.
Need to do some more cleaning and pull the oil pan and pump, valve/cam covers, intake/exhaust and put in new gaskets, then paint and start pulling the PW nose off and do the engine/tranny swap.
Ah, if only I wasn't working on three at a time. sure seems like I'm progressing slowly.
