Here in Alaska diesel has been between $3.30 and $3.40 a gallon depending on which station one goes to. Mean while gas has been going up since May. It got down to $2.30 a gallon here in Anchorage and is now back up to around $2.90-$2.95 a gallon. I keep hearing on the news how the price per barrel is under $65 a barrel, yet the price for gas at the pump has been raising for the 2 months now. What gives?
And thanks to the Presidents environment bill, it looks like the refinery up in North Pole will be closing down soon. Wasn't the Presidents stimuls bills supposed to put Americans back to work? It sure looks like it's having quite the opposite effect.
