Joel, check all the rubber lines between the tank and the fuel pump, take them off and make sure that they are not collapsing under load. sometimes a fuel line will seperate and the inside will collapse when the pump speeds up, as long as the load is mild as in idling it's fine, but as soon as you put a little pull on it the inside will close off the gas supply. check them very closely as I have seen almost new looking lines be bad.
