With the M and the 1-1/8" Bore MC, I was not able to move enough fluid to break hard (lock up the wheels). Once I switched to the larger bore (1-5/16") I was moving plenty of fluid. the stock MC off the truck is also approx 1-5/16" so I don't think I need smaller, unless I get a lot more stroke out of it.
The 1-5/16" has 36% more volume per unit of stroke than the 1-1/8".
