I tried to install the rod on my 48 (83910386) for the E-brake. I could not get it to work. There is an old Lull rough terrain forklift (parts) at a relatives lumber yard. The E-Brake cable on it was OK. The ends were the same as the PW. However it was too long. No problem. I removed one end, shortened it to the correct length and put it back together. It works fine.
