When you compress life into 15 minute sound bites, it gets to the point where everything is measured by 15 minutes. I have been beating patience into my kids. It seems to be working, as they aren't too rammy when it takes Dad a few minutes more to get their job done. My 12 year old son helped out the plumber when he came to fix the well- the plumber complimented me that the boy was mechanically inclined and had the patience to listen to him to learn what he had to do. Very proud, thought of that several times yesterday on Father's Day. Thanks for sharing this with us Copey.
