Residual valve is in the master?

Most factory dual masters have the residual valve in the deep end, just like the old single masters. That is why they usually use the front 'end' of the master for the rear brakes.

Others (Mopars?) have the residual check valves in the out put line ports. They are optional, little rubber or brass gizzies, that can be pushed in. Need to be pulled out with a screw to overhaul. MMMV (My Memory May Vary), it's been 25 years since I did one.

Memory is that which allows you to recognize a mistake when you make it again. Mine is getting so bad, now I think I really did sleep with all those girls I lied about in High School. AAaah, Memories!
