I posted last week or so about the 500 size 4x4 International I hauled for scrap that I could not get the locking hubs off of. Well, it didn't get crushed until yesterday sometime. I was finally able to get in there on swing shift, park the rig near it and attempt to get them off. I knew the swing shift guy would be cool about. He asked me what I was stealing and I explained to him about the value of "unobtanium". He says "I don't see nuttin'". I got one off but broke the small ratchet I had and didn't get the other one. Came in yesterday and it was the only piece they took off that load and crushed. At least I got one of them. Not sure if these would be the same as on a W500 but the axle looked similar. Anyone here need this hub?
