I've always ran Champion in the Mopars. When ever I used Autolites in the Mopars they didnt run well. Champions didnt fare well in the Honda car. Went back to what it calls for NGK and havent had a bit of trouble. The Champions gap would open up in the Honda. Never could figure that out. Car didnt run well in general with them in no matter what the gap was.

I have Chevy friends who hate Champions. They never have ran right in the chevys.

I am a firm believer of using what the manufacturer calls for on all the vehicles. I feel the ignition systems have been designed to run around a certain plug. I have always wondered what the electrical values of different plugs are for the "same vehicle" There has to be different electrical values in plugs and that would certainly make the spark act different going from various ignition systems.
