The manuals are out of print. If you find one it's a collector's item. But I do remember they said not to operate it while consuming Shiner. :)
It's called a log tong. You open the jaws and slip over the top of a tree to pull it. Most loggers just use a chain or a special short choker cable now.
Do they have logs in Texas? :)
