I verified my account the first time I used it. I have been paying with bank funding, ever since. It saves all the sellers about 50% on fees - and keeps some money out of MC/Visa/Paypals pockets!!
I really appreciate the people that pay with e-checks...what a deal!!
Having run a TON of cash through paypal over the years, I am pretty happy with the service. Much better than trying to maintain a direct account with Visa/MC. However, I was really mad at them when they froze my account with $25,000 in it!!! But, a couple days and it worked out.
They did have competition - they all sucked and have gone by the wayside. Afraid it is too late, now. It is time for someone to go against Ebay/Paypal for anti-trust for restricting payment methods...
