My Dad "Big Jim" told me on the first day on
the site.
he said "Winches are the most dangerous pieces of equipment we use!"
and almost every piece of rolling stock had
one or more.
there is a paper on the "best of" regards
snatch blocks and someother links on the home
page of the forum.
even the simple task of spooling the cable
on to the drum can be hazzardous to your health.
