Greg, are you sure your frame is correct? With the welds broken it could be the front cross member is closed up a bit. I found out my M601 frame is narrower at the front and both welds were broken, some rivets missing as well - further investigation shows the front member to be different shape on one side where something has crunched it hard. As I fab everything it doesn't matter to me.
