What do I do. I own a 47 that is in decent shape although it definintly needs work, I would take a lot to restore to nice show quality considering it has a second series bed. I have located a Power Wagon in almost perfect shape, not a ding on it, origonal everything including tailgate and event he tail light with the dodge empossed on it. Winch is complete and inside is nice. Mine may be slightly better mechanicly but oh well. If I was able to talk the guy out of it I would probably have to sell my truck. I like to go into the mountains and fool around in low range but there is room for error and always something that could happen, it wouldn't be a big deal on mine even though I have never hurt it. A vehicle of that calbiber I would never be able to bring myself to have fun in it. Do you guys fourwheel in your restored trucks or do you use a beater. At the rallys you show the restored vehicles but you also trail ride them, what if you wrinkle the running boards or something else, body work is so difficult onthat thick of metal. The question is do I keep mine and fix it up better but not for show, or do I buy that vehicle take parts off mine and paint it although still using for offroad or attempt to keep to around.
hmmmmm
thanks,
Drew
