The 78 came with a Dana 44 front and most likely
a 9 1/4 rear but might have a 8 3/4 in the back.
It will have 727 auto and a 203 T-case.
A better doner vehicle would be a chevy 1 ton
with a dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear.
Also I think but am not sure that the spring
perches are the same for old dodges and chevies.
I think the better route would be power brakes
and steering from helitool.
I havent done either so its your call.
