I need some information, and some opinion. The local "New and Shiney Dodge" lot has a '78 Power Wagon in the back, back, back lot for $500. It's got serious cancer and 132,000 miles on the V8, an auto tranny, extended cab.
Question #1 What tranny/T'case/axles came on a 1/2 ton PW of this vintage?
#2 would you consider grafting the whole unit into an M-37?
It would be nice to have a few more comforts, a little more power,and a few more locker choices. Would I be better enjoying the shortcommings for what they are..."Vintage PW-ness"
