Sounds like the chain has gotten to the point where it is loose enough to slip over the forward drive gear under load. The case will have to come out and at least be torn down for inspection. At this point you more than likely have some major internal wear. The 203 t-case is a reasonably cheap one to replace. Give Boyce Equiptment a call ( 1-800-748-4269 Ogden, Utah ) They sell surplus 203's for about $150.00. Depending on where you are located, this may be your best bet. Also, look in a 4-wheel mag. and see what Mile-Marker has to offer for the 203. They make a neat chain tensioner and a "part-time" kit that work really well in a 203.
