I too have a carryall that water has leaked through a damaged seam and rotted out the wipper housing. Some one in the past had fixed a roll over damage (probbably millitary depot)with lead and very neatly screwed a galvanized strip of metal over the seam.Very nice looking but not original. The invention of silicon seal would improve on this method because the glazing they used had dryed and allowed water to leak in.I did peel the remaining strip back to see about orignal like replacement. It looks like the strip is sandwiched between the cowl section and the roof section when they are joined. The only way to remove it is to cut it off leaving the sandwiced piece intact and then maybe soder a new strip in.If anyone has seen the Vintage Power Wagon repair ($70.00) please post your thoughts.
