Actually that may be a bit harsh to say, but in good faith I'm going to attempt to give you some pointers.

It is way too time consuming to use. As I mentioned below, you have the trucks all by model year. So someone whoposts a question on the 47 board for a WDX may not get an answer, because someone with a WM300 is posting on the 54 board whop knows and doesn't check the other board. Or, a generic question may mean a search of dozens of boards or dozens of posted questions to get an answer. You need to chuck this idea of model year and go strictly by model types like this:

Pre-WWII (all inclusive)
WWII 1/2 & 3/4 & 1 1/2 ton WC
M37 family (1950 to 1968)
M880 family
WDX/WM300 family (including PW based military
1957-60 W-100, W-200 family
1961-72 Sweptline
72 to date (all inclusive)

Much easier to use, and far more logical. And note you didn't even include WWII or earlier. And what about military trucks, are they allowed?

As for registration and email, surely you are aware that any site making that a requirement automatically cuts its traffic way down. I hate to register for any site, and rarely do. Further, I only post an email address when it suits MY purposes, not the site owner.

You seem to have some attitude about this site. Lose it. This site may not be perfect, but what matters is WE like it.

Over-ambitious. Have you had experience in running a site before? You site is HUGE. That means a lot of time, effort and frustration. Do you have the time and effort to run it, or will it have constant crashes and script errors, or will it even be there in a couple of months?
