I know this happens to you guys too. I hope I'm not the only one. My monthly Power Wagon project is almost done. Rewire the 48 B1. That speedometer cable is going through the same hole as the wires. I don't like it there. Not a lot of room for both anyway. Should be real easy to remove it and lube it while I got it out. Found out I have big hands. Can't reach the cable end at the xransfer case. (needlenose visegrips didn't work Fred, thanks anyway). Well it would be real easy to remove the hand brake to get at the cable. I could reline it as long as I have it out. It's getting late. Hey those two brackets holding the steering column on to the dash board could stand some paint....
Anyway what do you use for speedometer lube? Dry graphite or graphite grease?
