I have a 265 cubic inch industrial 32 engine in my 46 WDX. This engine has sodium cooled valves and stellite vave seats and also a full flow oiling system. The 265 is two inches longer than a stock 231 but would be a direct replacement for a 251. My truck had an ind 7A in it previously (237 cubic inches) which is also the longer engine so the motor mounts and radiator had already been moved making the swap easy for me. I am not sure of the Ind 31 displacement but I have a Chrysler Industrial
manual that lists the sizes of these engines and could look it up for you. Basically these engines are the same as the truck engines and all the accesories bolt right on. I believe they are a more premium engine with the better oiling and sodium cooled valves. The 265 has a 4.75 stroke which gives it more torque than the 251 or 231.
