I also had low pressure at idle. About 12PSI hot. I put in a new pump and it went to 18 to 20PSI hot. 30w valvoline HPO. Just switched to ROYAL PURPLE synthetic. Idle PSI is currently around 23 to 25. Running at 2200-2500 rpm pressure stays about 41psi. seems like the above combo worked for me. The synthetic oil is 30w also.
