The transfercase part of the conversion is under $100 bu the front axle part of the kit is around $500. So you should consider if it is worth it. If you had a new front axle with part time hubs you could save a lot of money since you'd only need the transfer case stuff. I read all this in a four wheel magazine from last year. They converted a Ramcharger. The NP 203 is heavier than NP 205 or NP 208 so I was told by Boyce a weight savings can be achieved by changing to a different transfer case. I considered all this for my W100 but, not happening to stumble on this stuff cheap, I concluded the main advantage of better gas mileage wasn't woth the cost. It seems most people agree the Full time four wheel drive performs at least as well as full time. Some newer truck owners want to convert to Full Time.
