I have a 1962 B-1 M-37 weapons carrier. I am seeking informatin on where the spare tire on this vehicle originally went. My truck appears to have had a driver side door spare tire carrier as it has the four holes just in front of the drivers door and the inside release lever on the inside of the cab. My truck is also equipped with the extra spring block on the left rear spring where it rests on the rear axel. In the bed of my truck there is no evidence of the spare tire bracket being mounted to the front bed pannel. Is there an answer to this delima??? Steve O. Ct.
