Does anyone know if a 1962 M-37 B-1 should have a lifting handle on the outside of the hood , in the center, near the underside latch. I though mine was an add on until I saw another M-37 with the exact same handle on it. I have never seen one in any military publications and am attempting to restore mine to original military condition. Any information appreciated. Thanks Steve O Ct.
