Dont know about the later Dodges, but my '42 WC 3/4 tons are both governed to 55mph, which they reach with little complaint. I do know of one guy who took the governor off his 3/4 and got about 70 mph out of it - right up to the time he blew the head gasket. I'd guess that most would sit at 55mph, but are not ideally suited for long distance cruising at highway speeds. Take off up a dirt track carrying a load and towing a trailer, though, and find out what they were built for. Gordon 8-)
