They put motors on in '53?!? Dang the luck. My 1950
had hand operated wipers. Good thing I lived in California
at the time. Imagine my chagrin as I watched the driver's
side wiper blow off and land right in front of the rear
wheel as I was driving down the road one day. This probably
doesn't help, but things could be worse!
