The wear I remember seeing appeared to be on the pinion.
Deep grooves. I watched him set up the new set with a
dial gauge...to 8 thou. He explained that there's little
room for adjustment with the PW rear end, other than
what he did. Your advice about racing gear setup sounds
sensible. I'll pass the info on. Thanks
