The TM 9-2320-212-20 Maintenance Manual states that the
thermostat should be fully open at 160F. My 250ci M37 runs
at 160F and the heater cranks out heat just fine, even on
the colder days. Though, I haven't had the chance to see how
it does at, say, -30F.
