I have been looking around for a one ton or better "W"
series power wagon. I missed a '74 W200 at a local
county auction two years ago. Only because my wife
would not let me spend any money on one. It went for
only $2,000.00! I would have paid up to $2,500.00.
If I had been able to bid for it. There were only two
things wrong with it. It had slight bit of rust
through in the roof of the cab above the rain gutter
over the windshield. And it was not air conditioned.
Which is a comfort concern here in south Florida. It
was in otherwise excellent well maintained condition.
With the original window sticker in the glove box.
The guy who bought was trying to sell it for $6,500.00.
He did eventually sell it. I don't, however, know
what he really got for it in the end. I am still
looking around for an everyday around town driver.
As I can't afford a Unimog. As much as I'd like one.
If anybody has any leads. I would like get some.
