I think an older PowerWagon would outperform a new truck in serious off-road situation. The biggest problem isgetting to that off-roadplace. These trucks are more like marginally road worthy tractors than todays conception of a 4 wd pick-up. People do drive them as everyday vehicles but I get enough punishment at work to want to do that. No onecould say that they are truly practical vehicles. They are fun old toys, in their day they were unbeatable but they are now just relics that a few of us enjoy. They are the perfect truck if you have a Chevy truck and a trailer to pull your Power Wagon to someplace where you can enjoy driving it. Bad points; they are too small, too noisy, grossly underpowered, woefully under braked. Good point; they are the coolest thing that ever had wheels.
Thanks, Kevin B.
