This message has nothing to do with the dealership problem but........

One thing I have noticed with Chrysler in their production of things. It seems each vehicle has its own parts. Nothing shares anything. I would think that adds to the production costs of stuff that really doesnt need to be. My 1971 Dodge Charger and my 1974 Dodge truck share so many things. Wiring harness and under dash stuff. Switches, knobs, window cranks so on and so forth.

I've personally owned 4 new Mopars from 1995 to 2007 and have had friends with other Mopar vehicles in comparable years and they all are unique in every way parts wise. The alt. and ac compressor may have been the same but thats it.

If they would combine some things in all vehicles I would think their production costs could be cut down a lot.
