1 disconnect upper hose
2 remove thermostat
3 disconnect fan belt
4 drain system until water level stands just
above cylinder head(s)
5 start engine, rev several times if the water level rises apprecialbly or bubble appear then exhaust gas is leaking into the
cooling system
this is easy to do no cost
