Thanks for the advice. I have driven some of the roads in a stationwagon... not too bad, but washboarded. I was thinking like 25mph.
As for the other comments, I think it will be fun, but I am a sucker for punishment (hence owning a powerwagon that is older than I by 33 years). If I leave Sat, and don't show by Monday people might worry, but the time between is fully open.
The next question is how loaded to make the bed. I have a lot of things I would like to take up to the land at the same time, but haven't ever driven more than a few miles loaded down.
